Today, President Trump will award the Public Safety Medal of Valor to two Capitol Police Special Agents and three Alexandria Police Officers who exhibited extraordinary valor above and beyond the call of duty. Last month, in Alexandria, Virginia, a cowardly attacker opened fire on a practice for the Congressional Baseball game. Fortunately, the brave first responders put the lives of their fellow Americans before their own and took down the attacker before any lives were lost.
